The second session of the Dialogue Forum at the Middle East level ended under the slogan "Together for a Democratic Middle East - The Path of Peace", which was titled "People's Leadership and the Challenges It Faces", and dealt with "the international conspiracy that was plotted against the leader Abdullah Ocalan, its causes and repercussions, the situation the current leader Ocalan and the torture regime in Imrali prison, how to fight against this plot and thwart it”, and the session was supervised by Nicola Namik.

The session was opened by a doctor of political sciences at Cairo University, Fernas Attia, who confirmed that the strange thing about the conspiracy against the leader Abdullah Ocalan is that despite the different ideology and orientations of the countries, they agreed to kidnap Ocalan to Turkey, which deprives him of the most basic human rights.

Fernas Attia added that the subjective factor of the thinker Ocalan was one of the reasons that led to his kidnapping, as he was calling for the nation and not the state, and this did not please the West, whose thinking is based on racism and therefore contradicts Ocalan's thought.

Fernas Attia said that the kidnapping of Ocalan was a contributing factor to the crises, including the consolidation of racism and ethnicity, as we see in northern Syria, Turkey and Iran, and what the Kurds are exposed to there, accusing them of terrorism, and thus Western countries in cooperation with regional countries working to fragment the countries of the Middle East.

It also expected that the kidnapping of leader Ocalan would have far-reaching repercussions, most notably the increase in strife and sectarianism, calling for the re-establishment of relations with the Kurds, because Arabs and Kurds have a common interest.

During the second and final session, the leader's lawyer, Mazloum Deng, also spoke during the second and final session. He said in his speech: "Many Turkish laws respect human rights, but this matter is not related to leader Ocalan or the Kurds, and this is double standards."

Deng added, "The goals of freedom, peace, and co-existence can only be achieved with the existence of a project like the leader Ocalan's project, which the Turks considered a danger, so they attacked and arrested him. This conspiracy is still ongoing and has not ended, as it turned into isolation in Imrali prison."

He continued by saying, "Ocalan was subjected to sanctions, and his trial was unfair and illegal, rather a sham. Five prisoners were transferred from Turkey to Imrali prison, and he is prohibited from meeting with lawyers and his family members, even from calling by phone."

Deng confirmed, "The rebuilding of Imrali prison led to the deterioration of Ocalan's health, and we asked to see the medical reports, but the Turkish authorities refused to answer that. We also demanded to visit an impartial medical committee, but our request was also rejected."

Deng said, "Turkey prevents us from visiting him and violates all international laws," stressing that the latest information was more than two and a half years ago, when Ocalan called his brother from the Public Prosecutor's Office, and since then we have not received any information about him.

The session was concluded by Professor of International Law from South Africa, Mahmoud Patil, with his lecture, in which he said: "We work according to an unjust international law, and we need a federal law and a system that believes in freedom and defends leader Ocalan and every oppressed person."

Patil added, "It is the duty of all of us to work for the freedom of this leader, and we must raise our voice and work together in the face of this injustice."

Patil called on all activists in solidarity with the Kurds to work to win the cause of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and to put pressure on all countries, "as they are participating in Ocalan's detention. He also stressed the importance of people's solidarity, and addressing the consciences of the world in the case of Ocalan and other prisoners."

It is scheduled to complete the work of the forum tomorrow, Wednesday, and include two sessions, in addition to agreeing and coming out with a set of recommendations and proposals at its end, before ending with a closing statement for the participants.
