"Let us make May 1 day of solidarity with Leader Apo"

Today, the Democratic Society Movement made a statement to public opinion, in which it called on "Autonomous Administration institutions, political parties, patriotic forces, women's and youth organizations, civil society institutions, and all hard workers and toilers to celebrate  the  Global Labor Day  in all regions of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria."

The statement was read by the co-chair of the Democratic Society Movement, Gharib Hasso, in its center in the city of Hasaka.

Hasso explained: "Let us make this historic day together a day of will, a day of solidarity with the great toiler leader Abdullah Ocalan and work together for the leader's physical freedom."

Gharib Hasso noted: "With the advent of the 137th anniversary of the first day of May, and with the spirit of the legacy and values ​​of this international day, we congratulate and bless the great toiler, leader Abdullah Ocalan, who revived the spirit and unity of struggle for all toilers of the region and the world."

Hasso congratulated all the toilers and workers of NE Syria and all the peoples who resisted and struggled against injustice and capitalist exploitation that dominates the will of peoples on the occasion of International Labor Day.

And he noted, "We congratulate this great and sacrificing occasion of struggle in order to glorify the will of the free toilers who have triumphed over the greatest policies of exploitation, as a result of harmony and solidarity with the cohesive of struggle and historical solidarity."

Two parties are scheduled to be organized at the level of al-Jazeera region, the first in Mezkaft Dam in Tirbespiye district in Qamishlo Canton, and the second in the village of Golbistan in al-Darbasiyah district in Hasaka Canton.
