​​​​​​​TEV-DEM: Sulaymaniyah's attack is flagrant violation of Iraqi sovereignty

Today, TEV-DEM issued a statement to the public regarding the Sulaymaniyah airport attack, in which it stated:

"The tone of the Turkish fascist occupation state's threats against the will of our resisting people is escalating at this stage, which coincides with the loss of the government of justice and development and the nationalist movement of its political and diplomatic weight regionally and internationally, as a result of the concessions made by this fascist government, which caused the emergence of a chaotic situation and a state of mistrust and stability in Turkey and Bakur Kurdistan in general, as a result of the emergence of new democratic alliances between the societal components and cultures yearning for democracy throughout Turkey.

The statement stated: "Therefore, the Turkish fascist government resorts to launching more terrorist attacks to continue the policy of extermination against the will of our people to target the unity of the Kurdish ranks and its coherent national stances through resistance and historical struggle on the basis of moral standards and the development and strengthening of brotherhood bonds between societies yearning for freedom and free societal will in the region."

TEV-DEM saluted in its statement: "The resistance of our people in Başûr Kurdistan, which has a long history of resistance and sacrifice and is full of honorable patriotic stances, in support of the Rojava revolution and the rest of Kurdistan."

TEV-DEM concluded by saying: "The immoral actions of the Turkish occupation state on the city of Sulaymaniyah in order to target national leaders or personalities on the land of Kurdistan and to eliminate the aspirations of our people towards solidarity and fateful national unity, and this is what we consider a shame on the forehead of everyone who deals with this cowardly Turkish occupation."
