Israel hits points in the city of Damascus and its periphery

The Official Media quoted a military source as saying, “At exactly 22:00 in the morning, the Israeli enemy carried out an air attack with bursts of missiles from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting some points in the city of Damascus and its surroundings, including residential neighborhoods inhabited by civilians. Our air defenses intercepted the aggression’s missiles and shot down most of them.”

The source added, "The aggression led, as a preliminary outcome, to the death of five martyrs, including a soldier, and the wounding of 15 civilians, including critical cases, and the destruction of a number of civilian homes and material damage to a number of neighborhoods in and around Damascus."

For its part, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that Israeli missiles targeted sites containing Iranian militias and the Lebanese “Hezbollah”, in an area located between Sayyidah Zainab and al-Diyabiya in the countryside of Damascus, which resulted in fires and explosions in the targeted places, and an Iranian area and school in Kafr Souseh, which resulted in About the destruction of a building and casualties.

A missile also landed at Al-Mazraa roundabout, amid information that a woman had been killed.

 The radar battalion was targeted in Tal Masih, south of Shahba in As-Suwayda, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
