​​​​​​Death toll from the latest ISIS attack tops to 68

On Friday evening, ISIS mercenaries launched an attack. It is considered the bloodiest since the beginning of this year. On Saturday, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that the death toll from the violent attack has risen to 61, in addition to the killing of 7 members of a checkpoint affiliated with the Damascus government forces in the al-Dhabyat area in al-Sukhna countryside, within the Homs desert.

It is noteworthy that the al-Dhabyat area contains a field for the production of natural gas, and there is a garrison for Iranian groups within it.

The attacks carried out by ISIS mercenaries have escalated since the devastating earthquake occurred, as ISIS takes advantage of the world's preoccupation with the disaster. To carry out his attacks, mainly targeting citizens in the area.
