Bloody attacks between HTS and Damascus govt forces in Latakia

Yesterday, the Syrian Observatory indicated that the mercenaries of the "Othman bin Affan Brigade" of the "Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham" carried out an attack on the positions of the Damascus government in Jabal al-Akrad.

The new operation is the first for "Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham" days after the Turkish occupation moved cement blocks from its military point in the town of Qastoun in the Al-Ghab Plain, west of Hama, towards its northern points in the north of the Aleppo-Latakia road; In preparation for the implementation of the Russian-Turkish agreements.

Yesterday evening, the Syrian Observatory reported that the death toll from the attacks rose to 13, including 6 of the mercenaries of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham and 7 of the Damascus government forces.

These attacks come in conjunction with the return of talk about the path of rapprochement between the Damascus government and the Turkish occupation.
