​​​​​​​Democratic Civil Administration in Tabqa issues statement on 8th anniversary of Kobani victory

Members of the Democratic Civil Administration, tribal notables, and members of the Revolutionary Youth Movement in Tabqa gathered in front of the Democratic Civil Administration building and issued a statement to the public opinion.

The statement was read by the co-chair of the Executive Council in the Tabqa region, Mazloum Omar, who considered the anniversary of Kobani's victory "the starting point for the elimination of ISIS spatially, after its rapid expansion over large areas of Syria and Iraq, with the direct support of the Turkish occupation state, which tried by various means to occupy Kobani to ensure that ISIS controls all its borders and elimination of the Autonomous Administration project in Kobani.

The statement stressed, "The resistance of Kobani was the torch that lit the path of resistance to liberate the rest of the Syrian lands from the abomination of ISIS, successively, starting with Manbij, Tabqa and Raqqa, and buried Turkey's dream in Al-Baghouz, the last stronghold of ISIS."

The statement indicated, "Turkey is the first sponsor of terrorism, Every year, the anniversary of the liberation of Kobani haunts the Turkish state, so its reaction is only by committing massacres, occupying a city, or creating chaos and strife in the areas of the Autonomous Administration."

The statement pointed to the repeated threats and attacks of the occupied Turkish state on NE Syria, " Today ,Turkey , on the eighth anniversary, waving and threatening to occupy Kobani and revive ISIS, on which Turkey relied to implement its agendas in Syria and the whole world."

The statement stressed, "Whatever the Turkish occupation state did through its attempts to strike the Autonomous Administration project, whatever means it used, it will go unheeded and will collide with the wall of resistance of the Syrian Democratic Forces and the determination of the people of their various components, who will not be satisfied with taking a step back, even for their blood."

The statement concluded, "At the present time, our forces are stationed on the enemy's frontiers, and victory is for the forces that are currently engaged in a campaign of revenge for the martyrs of Raqqa against everyone who sought to tamper with the security of the region."
