​​​​​​​Politicians- Jurists: Ongoing Turkish occupation attacks increases ISIS insurgency

Politicians and human rights activists in Raqqa and Deir ez-Zor confirmed that the attacks of the Turkish occupation state on the region contributed to the escalation of the activity of ISIS mercenary cells, and added that any agreement between the Damascus Government and the occupying state against NE, Syria would harrm the struggle against ISIS.

The Turkish occupation state continues to launch its attacks on NE, Syria, and due to the preoccupation of the Syrian Democratic Forces SDF with confronting these attacks, ISIS cells have been active in NE, Syria.

In this regard, the co-chair of the Lawyers' Union in NE, Syria, Meshlab al-Turkan, said, "The activity of ISIS mercenary cells has increased in NE, Syria, after the Turkish attacks on the region."

Turkey is a safe haven for ISIS "terrorists".

He explained, "We know that the training centers of ISIS mercenaries were within the areas occupied by the Turkish occupation, which facilitated their arrival from all countries, through its airports and borders, and their entry into NE, Syria and all parts of Syria."

In his turn, the co-chair of the Lawyers’ Union in Raqqa, Khaled al-Hassan, said, "ISIS mercenaries took advantage of the preoccupation of the Syrian Democratic Forces in confronting the Turkish attacks on NE, Syria, to launch their attacks on several areas there, the first of which was the attack on al-Sina'a Prison in the Ghweran neighborhood of the city of Hasakah, which includes thousands of ISIS mercenary detainees, under the guidance of the Turkish occupation state.

During his speech, Al-Hassan referred to the consequences of the tripartite meeting that included the Defense Ministers of the Turkish occupation state, the Government of Damascus and Russia, and said, "If an agreement is reached between these countries, the region will turn into a conflict zone, and this will contribute to the revival of ISIS again in the region."

Deir-ez-Zor

And in context; The head of the organization office of the Future Syria Party in the western countryside of Deir ez-Zor, Alaa al-Saeed, said, "Everyone knows that the biggest supporter of ISIS is the Turkish occupation state, which contributed to its entry into the Syrian lands previously, and is supporting it at the present time, to implement its colonial plans in NE, Syria."

Al-Saeed stated, "The aim of the attacks of ISIS cells is to destabilize security and stability in the Autonomous Administration areas."

In her turn, the spokeswoman for the Women's Council of the Future Syria Party in the western countryside of Deir ez-Zor, Mona al-Hammadi, said, "We notice the great activity of ISIS cells in the areas of Deir ez-Zor and Raqqa, and all evidence confirms that it was supported by Turkey."

She explained, "We know that the aim of the Turkish attacks is to strike stability and security in NE, Syria, but we will not allow any party to attack this security and stability that was achieved thanks to the unity of the components of NE, Syria and the blood of the martyrs."
