Turkish occupation settled about 13,000 members of its mercenary  in Girê Spî within year

Since its occupation of Girê Spî canton, on October 9, 2019, the Turkish occupation state has followed a policy of settling the families of its mercenaries in place of the indigenous people whom it forcibly displaced from their homes, as the number of the displaced from the canton reached more than 100,000 out of 170,000.

The Turkish occupation state has accelerated the pace of resettlement since the beginning of April of last year, after statements made by officials in the occupying country, in which they revealed their plans to settle about a million "refugees" in the lands occupied by Turkey in northern Syria.

According to what was confirmed by a local source from the occupied canton, "the number of refugees who were deported by the Turkish occupation state from its lands into the canton through the border gate of Tal Abyad during the year 2022 reached 12,757 refugees."

According to the source; Those who were deported by the occupying state are from the governorates of Homs, Aleppo, Idlib, and Eastern Ghouta, and most of them are from the families of its mercenaries, and the remnants of ISIS mercenaries who fled before to Turkey, after their defeat at the hands of the Syrian Democratic Forces, which liberated northern and eastern Syria from their defilement.

And the source stated, "The Turkish occupation state distributed these refugees to the occupied canton and its countryside (the town of Suluk, Hammam al-Turkman, Al-Ali Baglia and other villages, and settled them in the homes of the displaced, pending the completion of the construction of settlements, with Qatari money and Pakistani and Afghan associations, on the western side of the center of the occupied canton and the town of Ain."
