Thousands of activists  call for no-fly zone over NES

 The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria announced the launch of a campaign on virtual communication platforms to demand a no fly zone on the regions of north and east Syria to curb the Turkish attacks.

 The announcement of the launch of the campaign came through a statement made by the Autonomous Administration during a press conference on December 7.  It was read by the spokesman for the Autonomous Administration, Luqman Ahmi, at the headquarters of the External Relations Department of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, located in the city of Qamishlo.

 The statement stated: "We are in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, and out of our concern for the security and safety of our citizens, we turn to our people with all its components, the peoples of the world, and all political, social and diplomatic actors, to support us in our campaign that we will launch on December 10 (Human Rights Day)  on the platforms and websites of virtual communication, to impose an a no fly zone on northern and eastern Syria.

He explained that "the (hashtag) campaign aims to stop the war machine of the Turkish state from committing massacres and war crimes against our people, and exposing our people and their cultures to the danger of annihilation."

 In the first minutes of the launch of the campaign, thousands of activists participated in the virtual communication sites, the hashtag approved for the campaign #NoFlyZone4RojavaNow, which was announced by the official page of the Autonomous Administration in North and East Syria at 20:00 this evening, Saturday.
