Swedish Left Party launches campaign against Turkey's chemical attacks

The Swedish Left Party launched a campaign to highlight the chemical weapons attacks by the Turkish occupation state on the People's Defense Forces in Başûr.

The spokeswoman for the Left Party in Uppsala, Sweden, Ylva Larsdotter published a video clip, in which she said: "We want to draw your attention to this video. There are reports that Turkey has committed war crimes against the Kurds by using chemicals."

The first assistant to the mayor of Uppsala, Tobias Smedberg, said, "The Turkish state has been carrying out occupation military operations for 39 years and now we have reports of its use of chemical weapons. This is a very dangerous situation and should draw the world's attention."

For her part, Representative Ilona Szatzmari Waldo said: " The use of chemical weapons is a war crime against humanity and international law."

As the member of the executive body of the party said "The Left Party defends international law and the rights of the Kurdish people. Crimes are committed and forgotten only by remaining silent, so raise your voice."
