The member of the Iraqi Parliamentary Human Rights Committee, Hussein al-Mardan, confirmed to Roj News, "We reject all forms of military operations launched by Turkey inside the country, which caused the killing innocents in villages and countryside on the border areas."

He added that "these attacks are a clear violation of international humanitarian law," calling on "Turkey to stop its attacks and withdraw its military forces from the country."

The Iraqi Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiya'a al-Sudani, said yesterday in a press conference that "we have 3 files with Turkey, which are security, economy and water, and we have $20 billion in trade exchange between Iraq and Turkey, the security problem must be solved and the Turkish aggression on Iraqi lands and borders must be stopped."

He added, "During the next stage, there will be a move to stop the Turkish bombing, because this is unacceptable to all of us."
