Gharib Hasso: In the spirit of resistance and struggle, the plans of the enemies will fail

Gharib Hasso called on the people of north and east Syria to work in the spirit of resistance, according to the principle of the Revolutionary People's war; to thwart schemes, and predicted an increase of attacks on the region with the control of the mercenaries of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly al-Nusra) over the occupied Afrin Canton.

Co-chair of the Democratic Society Movement, Gharib Hasso, assessed the recent developments in the region, in particular the control of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham mercenaries over the occupied Afrin Canton and the tight siege imposed by the Damascus government on Shahba Canton and Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood in Aleppo city.

Hasso told ANHA "The transfer of al-Nusra mercenaries to Afrin was one of the outcomes of Tehran-Astana meeting, in light of the Turkish rapprochement with the Damascus government, in order to move to a new stage of war tactics and develop a new plan to fight Autonomous Administration in NE Syria, weaken it and eliminate the model of a democratic nation."

Regarding the goals of the Damascus government to besiege Shahba Canton, Hasso explained "with the aim of undermining IDPs of Afrin will and displacing them from the area where they are resisting against the Turkish occupation state to liberate their areas," and considered it "one of the common policies between the Turkish occupation state and the Damascus government."

Hasso predicted an increase in the frequency of attacks on NE Syria through drones and heavy weapons "during our follow-up to the situation, the entire regions of north and east Syria are in danger from the Turkish occupation state and the Damascus government, and we do not exclude an increase in the frequency of attacks on the region, especially the areas of Shahba, and the closure of all roads by the Damascus government completely".

"All the peoples in NE Syria who are eager for freedom will inevitably fail all the plans of the enemies," Hasso stressed.

'The people have to be prepared'

The co-chair of Democratic Society Movement urged the people to be "ready to face anything. First of all, we must trust in our troops, our existence, and our Autonomous-Administration, which was built thanks to the sacrifices of the martyrs."

Hasso noted: "Immigration will not solve the problems, and these are the plans of the enemies in the first place."
