Representative of AANES holds meeting with FRC in Spanish Parliament

Within the framework of developing diplomatic and political relations, the representative of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria in Europe, Abdel Karim Omar, met with the Foreign Relations Committee of the Spanish Parliament, in the capital, Madrid.

The delegation of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Spanish Parliament included: Jon Inarritu (Mariona Illamola) (Antón Gómez) (Albert Botran) (Marta Rosiqe) (Alonso Suárez).

The meeting focused on the intractable Syrian crisis and its repercussions on the Syrian people in various respects, without any prospects for a political solution, in addition to the situation in North and East Syria and the Autonomous Administration project.

Abdul Karim Omar explained to ANHA agency that he discussed with the the model of Autonomous Administration in north and east Syria, and that it turned into a model for building a new, democratic, decentralized Syria as a common homeland for all Syrians, to be followed in other Syrian regions.

Omar also talk about the challenges facing the Autonomous Administration, both political and economic, in addition to the challenge of "terrorism" and the Turkish threats and its continuous aggression against north, north and east Syria, through artillery bombardment and the use of "drones" against civilians, leaders of the Syrian Democratic Forces. , and officials of the Autonomous Administration.

The Foreign Relations Committee of the Spanish Parliament expressed its appreciation for the role played by the Kurds and the Syrian Democratic Forces in confronting the "terrorism" represented by ISIS.

 A number of parliamentarians expressed their admiration for the experience of the Autonomous Administration, and they would work to support this democratic project, and stressed that they would work to pressure Turkey to stop its attacks against NE Syria, according to what was quoted by the representative of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria in Europe, Abdul Dear Omar.
