​​​​​​​Demonstrations in the districts of Qamishlo Canton against the Turkish occupation chemical attacks

In condemnation of the use of internationally banned chemical weapons by the Turkish occupation State against the fighters of Peopel Defense Forces (Guerrilla) and in solidarity with their resistance against these attacks, a mass demonstration took place in the districts of Girkê Legê, Çil Agha and Tal Brak of Qamishlo Canton, in which the people remembered the martyr Gulnaz Qratash (Beritan), that today (25 October) marks the 30th anniversary of her martyrdom.

Girkê Legê

Hundreds of residents gathered in the square of martyr Khabat Dirk in the district of Girkê Legê, on Tuesday, to condemn the use of chemical weapons by the Turkish occupation state against the People Defense Forces in the areas of legitimate defense.

The demonstration began with slogans "No to the Turkish occupation", "Long live the resistance of Guerilla ", and "Betrayal dies", in which demonstrators carried pictures of the martyr Beritan.

Çil Agha

In a related context, hundreds of residents of Çil Agha district of Qamishlo Canton demonstrated in Martyr Massum Square located in the center of the district.

The demonstrators raised the photos of the 17 martyrs, the photos of martyr Beritan, and the Kurdish flags and symbols.

They also carried banners reading "No to Turkish occupation", "no to extermination", and "no to the attacks of Turkish state", while repeating slogans praising the resistance and struggle of the Guerillas.

Tal Brak

In the same context, hundreds of Tel Brak people gathered to demonstrate against the chemical attacks of the Turkish occupation state and the international silence that encourages it to launch these internationally banned attacks on the Guerilla.

The demonstration raised also the pictures of the 17 martyrs, in addition to the pictures of leader Abdullah Ocalan and the martyr Beritan.

The demonstrators chanted slogans "No to betrayal", "No to chemicals" and slogans saluting the resistance of Guerilla.
