​​​​​​​Autonomous Administration announces the martyrdom of 2 citizens in the Turkish attack on Qamishlo

Today, Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria issued a written statement, denouncing the Turkish occupation state's attack by a drone on the city of Qamishlo yesterday.

The statement: In the context of the continuation of the policies of extermination against our Syrian people in the Autonomous Administration's areas and in the context of undermining stability and creating chaos; Turkish occupation state is seeking with all its capabilities to target civilians and their homes without any legal or international deterrent.

Referring to the air attack of Turkish occupation state yesterday on the city of Qamishlo, said: "The drone that targeted the city of Qamishlo yesterday, which is a continuation of the series of attacks with drones, indicates Turkish occupation' declaration of war, the beneficiary of which are the mercenary and terrorist forces".

Stressed that "Turkish occupation state's targeting of SDF commanders who are fighting terrorism, as well as targeting civilians, their homes and property, as well as workers in the Autonomous Administration and civil institutions, is a clear violation of all moral standards and international covenants."

AANES condemned Turkish attack, saying: "We in Autonomous Administration of NE Syria, while we condemn the attack on the city of Qamishlo yesterday, Monday, October 24, and the targeting of one of the civil institutions of Autonomous Administration, which led to the martyrdom of civilian citizens, We affirm that the silence of any part of the active powers in Syria, as well as the international community and international institutions, is in the interest of supporting the policy of the Turkish state and its war against the Syrians and against our regions, which must be made clear through clear stances that confirm the reality of international values and laws and differentiate between Turkey's arguments and the form of its targeting and its unjustified war against the Syrians and our regions."

And concluded its statement by saying: "We assure our people of all its components that we will continue to defend the gains of our people and their right to stability, self-organization and legitimate defense, and we will defend and protect the achievements of our people's revolution."
