​​​​​​​"First Annual Forum for Victims in north Syria" about the occupied Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî kicks off

The "first annual forum for victims in north Syria" was launched a while ago to discuss the human rights situation in the occupied areas of Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî, and the mechanisms of Justice available locally and internationally regarding crimes and violations committed in the regions occupied by the Turkish occupation state.

  Coinciding with the third anniversary of the attack of Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries on the occupied areas of Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî, the association "tazur" for victims held in coordination with the organization "Syrians for truth and justice", the first annual forum for victims in north Syria.

The forum, which is being held at Zana Hall in Qamishlo, aims to shed light on the human rights situation in the occupied Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî, and discuss the justice mechanisms available locally and internationally, in search of solutions to safeguard the rights of IDPs and forcibly displaced people from the areas occupied by Turkey.

The forum attended by jurists, lawyers and writers from NE Syria, as well as the Office of refugees and displaced persons' affairs in Autonomous administration of north and east Syria.

According to the preparatory committee, the program of the forum includes the screening of a film on "undermining coexistence and peace in Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî", in addition to discussing 2 main axes: (the human rights situation in Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî), (justice mechanisms available locally and internationally).

It is noteworthy that Tazur Association is an association for victims in NE Syria, which works to document all human rights violations in north and east Syria and preserve evidence and documents to contribute to the processes of truth, accountability, justice, developing the capabilities of victims and advocating their issues in order to build a society demanding its rights.
