​​​​​​​Notables of Al-Mashour clan: Goal of Turkish rapprochement with Damascus government is to thwart AANES

 After failing to realize its colonial ambitions in Syria and the plan to exterminate the Kurds, the Turkish occupation state turned towards Damascus to realize the plans.

 The Turkish occupation state, with its intelligence services, held several meetings with the Damascus government to thwart the administration project and strike the unity of the components of the region.

 In this regard, our agency monitored the opinions of the dignitaries of the famous clan in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, who affirmed that the Autonomous Administration project is the only solution to the Syrian crisis because it unified the components of the region and fulfilled the aspirations of the peoples of the region in all respects.

"We condemn and denounce the Turkish attacks on the areas of northeastern Syria, and the conspiracy hatched by the Turkish occupation state and the Damascus government against the Autonomous Administration project."

Zaaim al-Mahmoud explained, "Syria is one people that does not accept division, whether it is in northeastern Syria or throughout Syria in general."

 He pointed out, "Turkey is currently approaching the Damascus government to thwart the AANES project because it knows that the project poses a threat to its colonial plans and projects in the region."

 Al-Mahmoud stressed, "We, as dignitaries and tribal elders in Deir ez-Zor, categorically reject the conspiracy that Turkey and the Damascus government are plotting against our areas. We will not allow this conspiracy, and we will support the Syrian Democratic Forces and work with them to make the Autonomous Administration project a success."

 Mansour Al-Shallaf, one of the notables of the clan in the western countryside of Deir ez-Zour, said, "The Turkish rapprochement with the Damascus government aims to expel Syrian refugees from Turkey and return them to Syria, and humiliate them because most of the refugees who went to Turkey refused reconciliations with the Damascus government."

Mansour Al-Shallaf asked, "Turkey used to call itself the incubator of the Syrian people. Where is that incubator? Now it has started to displace and deport them, but we know that Turkey has never been a friend of the Syrian people, but rather operates according to its colonial interests in the region and deludes the world that it is protecting the Syrians."

 Al-Shallaf pointed out, "The Turkish occupation state has had long-standing ambitions in the Syrian lands, since it occupied the Liwaa Iskenderun, and at the present time it has occupied Afrin, Ras al-Ain and Tal Abyad, and it seeks to occupy more Syrian lands as its Ottoman forefathers occupied it for 400 years."  .

 He explained, "Turkey is fighting the people of the region with many means to occupy our lands, the most important of which is blocking the waters of the Euphrates River with the aim of creating an economic crisis for all the people of north and east Syria."

 And Mansour Al-Shallaf stressed, at the conclusion of his speech, "We do not accept the Turkish occupation, and support our forces, the Syrian Democratic Forces will support them. We will stand with our forces until victory is achieved."
