​​​​​​​SDF announces the martyrdom of 2 fighters in a clash with ISIS cell in Al-Hol camp

The Syrian Democratic Forces said in a statement posted on its official page, "2 of our fighters martyred of their wounds sustained during a clash with an armed cell dressed as women belonging to ISIS mercenaries in the fifth sector in al-Hol camp on Thursday night."

A terrorist cell belonging to ISIS mercenaries consisted of 7 mercenaries, including 2 women, who were trying to escape from the camp, where the Internal Security Forces with the support of our forces, intervened to prevent the escape. The terrorist cell, after it was surrounded, opened fire on our forces, which responded in kind, during the clash, a mercenary dressed as women was killed, six others, including 2 women, were arrested, two AK-47s and an explosive belt were seized.

Our forces supporting the Humanity and Security operation affirm once again their continuation to provide support and assistance to the Internal Security Forces in north and east Syria until the goals of the operation are achieved and the camp residents rid of ISIS cells terrorism.
