PYD's Official Website said that the US envoy to NE Syria, Nicholas Granger, visited yesterday, Wednesday (September 7), the party's general center in the city of Qamishlo, in the presence of the Kurdish national unity parties.

He was received by the co-chair of the Democratic Union Party, Asia Abdullah, and the member of the party's governing body, Aldar Khalil.

According to the Website, the two sides discussed the current situation, the Turkish escalation in the region, and international support.

For his part, the US envoy explained that "their position is clear; They do not support the Turkish attacks, and that destabilizing NE Syria will have negative effects on the region in general," the website added.
