SDC: Reconciliation between Damascus and Ankara would be against aspirations of Syrians

The Presidential Council of the Syrian Democratic Council held a meeting today to assess the course of the Syrian crisis in light of the regional and international variables and conflicts that the world is experiencing and their direct and indirect repercussions on the Syrian file and the path of a political settlement, according to the official website of the Syrian Democratic Council.

The meeting was attended, in addition to the joint presidency of the council and the presidency of the executive body, by representatives of parties, political forces and civil and community activities, during which they discussed the results of the meetings held during the past weeks and their impact on the Syrian cause.

The Website also mentioned that the meeting discussed the Turkish attacks, through direct bombing on civilian-populated areas.

The meeting evaluated the orientations of the Turkish policy towards conducting "reconciliation" with the authority in Damascus, and considered that these trends would serve the interests of the Turkish government and the authority in Damascus and would be against the aspirations of the Syrian people with its various components, who have been struggling for more than 11 years for change, democratic transformation and the liberation of Syrian lands. .

The meeting reviewed the efforts of the Syrian Democratic Council  in finding a comprehensive solution to the Syrian crisis by maintaining the policy of openness to all national forces .
