2 Turkish occupation soldiers killed in HPG actions

HPG Media Office released the following statement:

“In salute of August 15, our forces are continously carrying out actions. By the lead of our mobile units, 2 occupation soldiers were killed and another was injured during these actions. A battle position and a mobesse surveillance camera system were also destroyed.

The Turkish occupation army bombed the Resistance Areas 9 times with tactical nuclear and chemical weapons, 20 times with warplanes, 14 times with attack helicopters, dozens of times with howitzers, mortars, tanks and heavy weapons.

Information regarding the actions and attacks are as follows:

In the framework of Martyr Savash Marash Revolutionary Campaign in the Battle of Khabour;

On August 5 at 06.50 a.m., a mobese surveillance camera system belonging to the occupation was destroyed in the Resistance Area of Gire Cudi

On August 5 at 11.20 a.m., the occupation forces were targeted with sabotage tactics when they attempted to bomb the war tunnels in the Resistance Area of Gire Cudi with chemical weapons.

On August 5 at 17.40 p.m., our mobile teams targeted the occupation in the Resistance Area of Gire Amediye. In this action carried out by our forces, 2 occupation soldiers were killed and a further 1 was injured. After the action, the occupation forces bombarded the area with attack helicopters and heavy weapons. During the night, they evacuated their dead and wounded from the area with helicopters.

On August 6 at 05.00 a.m., a battle position of the occupation forces was targeted and destroyed in the Resistance Area of Gire Cudi

On August 6 at 06.40 a.m., a mobese surveillance camera system belonging to the occupation forces was destroyed.

In the framework of the Zagros Eagles Revolutionary Campaign in the Zap Region;

On August 4 at 18.00.p.m., our forces targeted the occupation forces in the Resistance Area of Chemcho with heavy weapons.

On August 5 in the afternoon, the occupation forces attempted to advance towards the battle positions in the Resistance Area of Şikefta Birîndara with excavators and armored vehicles but were targeted by our forces with heavy weapons. After our forces intervened, the occupation forces were forced to retreat.

In the framework of the Zagros Eagles` Revolutionary Campaign in the Khakurk Region;

On August 6 at 05.00 a.m., our forces targeted the occupation forces in the vicinity of Martyr Shahan Hill with heavy weapons.

Attacks by the Turkish occupation army with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons;

On August 5, the war tunnels in the Resistance Area of Gire Cudi was bombed 2 times with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons.

On August 5, the war tunnels in the Resistance Area of Werkhele was bombed 2 times with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons.

On August 5, the war tunnels in the Resistance Area of Şikefta Birîndara and Chemcho were bombed 5 times with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons.

Attacks by the Turkish occupation army with heavy weapons, howitzers, mortars, helicopters and war planes;

On August 5 and 6, the Resistance Area of Gire Amdediye and Saja, was bombed 12 times with warplanes.

On August 5, the area of Martyr Hawar Hill and Sinine in Khakurk and the areas of Kanisarke and Gouze village in Gare, were bombed 8 times with warplanes.

On August 5, the Resistance Areas of Gire Cudi, Gire FM and Werkhele were bombed 14 times with attack helicopters.

On August 4 and 5, the vicinity of Gire Azad in Metina and the Reistance Areas of Gire FM, Gire Amediye, Şikefta Birîndara and Chemcho were bombed dozens of times with heavy weapons, howitzers, mortars and tanks.”
