Siham Hammo: The mass grave in Manbij is evidence of ISIS's brutality

On Wednesday, July 28, workers of the People’s Municipality in Manbij, while digging sewage canals next to the Democratic Civil Administration building in Manbij (formerly Manbij Hotel), found a mass grave containing 29 bodies, including two of two minor children, while most of the bodies were handcuffed and blindfolded.

On this issue, Siham Hammo, the co-chair of the Legislative Council in the administration of Manbij and its countryside, said: "Manbij has suffered from the oppression of ISIS mercenaries for 6 years, from beheadings, field executions, stoning of women, selling them in slave markets and killing children. They were confronted by the Syrian Democratic Forces made up of sons of and components of the region managed to defeat them and rid the world of their evil.”

Hammo, confirmed that "Northern and Eastern Syria was liberated from ISIS mercenaries thanks to the blood of its martyred sons, and its people made a pledge during its liberation to protect and preserve it from any aggression."

She added Siham that: "The price of liberation was high, our sons sacrificed with their blood.

Therefore, with the solidarity and cohesion of the components of the region, the march of the martyrs will be completed and their sacred gains preserved."

Worth to note that the forces of the Manbij Military Council and the Syrian Democratic Forces liberated the city of Manbij from ISIS mercenaries on August 15, 2016, after battles that lasted 73 days.
