​​​​​​​Last month`s balance on crimes by Turkish army in occupied Afrin

The Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries are continuing to carry out crimes against the people of Afrin and its nature. These crimes are carried out in an attempt to destroy the Kurdish identity and to implement a “turkification” policy in order to cut the region off from Syria and make it part of Turkey.

43 citizens have been abducted, including 4 women

The Human Rights Organization of Afrin-Syria and local sources reports that throughout the course of last month, the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries abducted 43 citizens in Afrin canton, including 5 elderly and 4 women.

In Jindires district and its surrounding villages, the Turkish MIT and its mercenaries of the so-called “military police, “Sultan Murad” and the “political security” abducted 9 citizens.

The names of the abducted citizens are: Remzi Shekh Muhammen Mahmoud(32), Abdulnizar Khalil(24), Muhammed Jiwan Muhammed(28), Abdulrahman Omar Hasan, Muhammed Hasan(27), Mahmoud Ali Hassan(30), Firzat Muhammed Mahmoud(28), Abdo Mahmoud Derwish(31) and Muhammed Khalil Riyad(26).

In Afrin city center, the district of Rajo and Shera and their surroundiong villages, The Turkish MIT and their mercenaries from “Jabhat Al-Shamiye and “Military and civil polioce” abducted 17 citizens, including 4 elderly.

The names of the abducted citizens are: Mustaffa Kemal Muhammed, Rifat Ahmed Zenki, Khalil Hakim, Ali Shekh Ahmed(65), Horik Dawoud(69), Muslim Muhammed Alo, Mustaffa Mourad Zibar(65), Osman Hanan(70), Hamoud Mustaffa(38), Fawzi Mourad, Abdulhadi Al-Omar, Basil Muhammed Nasir(30), Muhammed Amin, Mustaffa Selim Hussein(38), Manan Salim Hussein(52), Hussein Hedik and Mustaffa Mohammed(28).

In the district of Sherawa and Mabata and their surrounding villages, the Turkish MIT and their mercenaries from the so-called “Military Poliuce”, “Ahrar Al-Sham”, “Hamzat” and “Muhammed Fatah” abducted 17 citizens, including 4 women.

The names of the abducted citizens are: Masooud Izedin Birimo(53), Saydo Reshad Ali(37), Hanan Omer Misto(35), Hadi Adnan Misto(34), Muhammed Hamid Nasir(58), Hussein Aboud Hamo(45), Ahmed Abdou(30), Adil Berem(55), Ahmed Birimko(60), Amin Ali, Jemil Mourad Muhammed(55), Mustaffa Farid Jemal(20), Midhet Mourad Muhammed(63). The abducted women are: Ruqaye Mustaffa, Hevin Hamid, Hanife Ibrahim and Asoum Muhammed Aliko.

5 PEOPLE MURDERED, INCLUDING 3 WOMEN

The Human Rights Organization of Afrin-Syria reported that during the course of last month, 5 people were murdered, including 3 women.

On July 5, the corpse of a citizen named Abdulrahman Iso(50), who is from Marate village in the center of Afrin canton, was found in a well close to the village.

On July 9, the corpse of Jihan Omar Barakat(23), was found in her home in Chuban village of Rajo district. According to the information, Jihan committed suicide and is the mother of a child. She comes from the village of Sokhaneke.

On July 11, the body of a citizen's daughter named Muhamed Dib, 17 years old, was found dead. According to reports, she killed herself and there are traces of beating-marks found on her body.

According to the same sources, a mercenary commander of the Turkish army killed his wife in the village of Shekh Bilo in Rajo district.

WALL CONSTRUCTION AND THE CUTTING OF 3 300 TREES

The Human Rights Organization of Afrin-Syria reported that during the last month, the Turkish occupation army constructed walls along all villages in Afrin canton. In the districts of Rajo, Shera, Shiye and Jindires, 3 300 olive trees were cut and stolen.

DEMOGRAPHIC CHANGE POLICY OF IMPLEMENTATION OF OCCUPATION AND CUTTING DOWN THE CANTON

In Jindires district, the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries built a new bulding of the occupation authorities on the crop-fields belonging to the refugees.

The organization pointed out regarding this matter that the construction of the mentioned buildings started one month ago. They state that more than 40 buildings have been constructed and that the process of constructing new buildings is still ongoing.  

The constructions are taking place over an area of 4 hectares in the area between the villages Hamilke and Rifatiye in eastern Jindires. This land belongs to the children of Majid and Mourad Manan from Shekhutka village

The commander of the so-called “Nouredin Zengi Movement”, named Abdo Zamzam, is leading a project for receving support from organizations in Quwait and Qatar. The name of the organization is “Islamic Organization” which have their hidden headquarters in a house on the road in Hamam village of Jindires district.
