People in NE Syria raise readiness in face of Turkish threats

The components of northern and eastern Syria continue to raise defensive readiness, and adhere to the option of resistance to confront the imminent threat of the Turkish occupation state, while politicians and administrators consider popular cohesion and solidarity in the face of the occupier a guarantee of its defeat.

Since the beginning of last June, the Turkish occupation state has escalated its continuous threats and attacks on north and east Syria. To counter this, the General Council of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria declared on July 6, a state of public emergency.

On this, the head of the Conservative Party office in the city of Hasaka, Muhammad al-Barrak, confirmed that Syria witnesses the continued threat of occupation and division, and that the stability and security of Syrians is threatened more than ever, in light of the continuing threats and attacks of the Turkish occupation state.

Al-Barrak attributed this to the goals of the occupying state, which it seeks to implement in the country, from the fragmentation and occupation of Syrian lands, to fighting the projects proposed to solve the Syrian crisis, and pushing the region into chaos and instability.

For his part, the head of the office of the Kurdistan Republican Party in the city of al-Hasakah, Muhammad Ahmed, repeated these threats to the efforts to eliminate the gains achieved as a result of the revolution in north and east Syria, especially the Autonomous Administration model, and said: "They seek to do so through attacks led by ISIS mercenaries, prompted by the Turkey's dictatorship.

To confront these threats, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria declared, on the 6th of July, a state of public emergency, accompanied by popular readiness for the people of the region and military preparedness by the Syrian Democratic Forces, and political and diplomatic action by the Syrian Democratic Council and political parties of various orientations and visions.

The NE Syria witnesses preparations for the war of the Syrian social segments, expressing their standing in a trench with the Syrian Democratic Forces in defending the Syrian territories and liberating the occupied areas, in an embodiment of the people's revolutionary war.

In the context, the head of the office of the Conservative Party in the city of Hasaka, Muhammad al-Barrak, stressed their standing together, saying, "The people of the region are united to confront all attacks that affect the region. Our choice is resistance."

For his part, the head of the office of the Kurdistan Republican Party in the city of Hasaka, Muhammad Ahmed, considered the resistance and popular solidarity in the face of the threats of the Turkish occupation state, a guarantee of security, peace and democracy in the country and the entire Middle East region.

Meanwhile, a member of the General Council of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), Fadel Al-Hussein, confirmed that the continued threats and attacks of the Turkish occupation state on northern and eastern Syria are an extension of its greedy policy in the Syrian lands, noting that all Syrian peoples have become aware of the ambitions represented in nibbling the Syrian lands.

He noted that its political and military threats and endeavors are nothing but an attempt to harness all its political and military weight to obtain international legitimacy for the occupation of Syrian lands, similar to what happened in Afrin, Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî / Tal Abyad.

The components of Syria have taken the decision to resist

At the same time, he stressed that "the components of northern and eastern Syria have taken the decision to resist and defend the land, so protecting them is not limited to the Syrian Democratic Forces."

In the same context, a member of the General Secretariat of the Democratic Development and Change Party, Abdullah Roweished, relied on the Syrian Democratic Forces to deter the attacks on north and east Syria, and for the peoples of the region to defend their gains.

The co-chair of the Executive Council of the Democratic Civil Administration of Tabqa and its countryside, Mazloum Omar, said in this regard, "Turkish threats continue against northern and eastern Syria in a Turkish invasion with the aim of occupying and entering the region and carving out new parts of the Syrian lands and annexing them to Turkish lands. The Turks also claim in their internal policy protection their national security."

Omar stated, "These attacks and threats do not target a single component, race or religion, but rather target all peoples in north and east Syria."

He stated that "the Turkish occupying state is striving with its flimsy pretexts to restore its Ottoman ambitions, by occupying our lands to build the new Ottoman Empire." Pointing out that these attacks target not only Syria, but also Iraq and Cyprus.

"These attacks must be taken seriously and not tolerated, and we are ready to confront any attack," he stressed.

Omar held the Damascus government responsible for the attacks of the Turkish occupation "for failing to fulfill its national duty to protect the Syrian borders and preserve its sovereignty."

At the conclusion of his speech, Omar stressed, "All the civil and military administrators are on full alert with our forces, the Syrian Democratic Forces. We are ready to confront and deter the Turkish enemy and thwart its new colonial project and its demographic change that seeks to obliterate the identity of all Syrian components."
