​​​​​​​Thousands of residents of Qamishlo canton condemn attacks of the Turkish occupation

 Thousands of residents of the cities, districts and towns of Qamishlo canton flocked to the district of Derik to demonstrate against the continuous Turkish bombardment of northern and eastern Syria in light of the international silence and the guarantor states.

 The people gathered at the entrance to the city of Derik, southwest of the city, to demonstrate against the practices of Turkish fascism against northern and eastern Syria.

 The demonstration started from the entrance to the city of Derik, amid the demonstrators raising banners reading: “We demand a no fly zone to prevent Turkish attacks,” “Long live the unity of the Kurdish people and die treachery,” “We will break the hands that touch our leader,” “The massacres are repeated and the killer is one, the killer Erdogan.”

 The demonstration toured the main street and headed towards the Center for the Revolutionary Youth, amid loud slogans denouncing treason and saluting the resistance of the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Peoples Defense Forces.

The demonstrators stopped for a minute of silence, and then the co-chair of the Executive Council in Al-Jazera region, Talaat Younes, delivered a speech and said: "We salute your struggle and solidarity with your forces and your revolution against Turkish fascism and the brutal policies being hatched against the people of north and east Syria in committing murder  general against the peoples of the region.

 He added, "Turkish fascism uses all means to break the will of the Kurdish people and the peoples of the region, taking advantage of the crises that afflict the world and the region, to take advantage in eliminating the region and expanding its geography at the expense of the peoples of the region."

 He pointed out, "The occupied Turkish state suffers from confusion in its internal policy, trying to export it abroad to prolong its life, adding that Turkish fascism disregards international and human rights laws, bypassing all international laws and norms with its brutal transgressions outside its borders."

 He said that Turkish fascism wants to restore the neo-Ottomanism in the region, committing massacres, expanding its occupation and changing the demographics of the region.

 Younis touched on the international silence regarding the massacres committed by the Turkish fascist against the Kurdish people and the peoples of the region, depriving them of their legitimate rights.

 Younis stressed that all the massacres committed by the Turkish fascism will not affect the will of the Kurdish people, and they will remain on their historical land, rallying around their forces against the Turkish occupier.

 In turn, she gave a speech on behalf of the administrative district of Qamishlo in the Girkê Legê Health Council to Mona Al-Nasser and said: "The Turkish occupier daily attacks in its comprehensive war against the peoples of northern and eastern Syria, seeks to eliminate their will and change the demography of the region."

 And Mona continued, "The Turkish fascism aims to eliminate the autonomous-administration, the brotherhood of peoples and the peaceful coexistence that the peoples of the region enjoy in coexistence, noting that the peoples of northern and eastern Syria, led by the free revolutionary woman, liberated northern and eastern Syria from terrorist groups and established security and safety for all the peoples of the region.

 Mona denounced the international silence and the coalition forces regarding the massacres  in front of the world, stressing that the peoples of north and east Syria will avenge the blood of their martyrs.

 The demonstration ended amid slogans saluting the resistance of the Syrian Democratic Forces.
