AA representation celebrates in Stockholm on “July 19th Revolution”

The co-chair of the Department of Foreign Relations in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Abdul Karim Omar, the co-chair of the Executive Council of the Administration, Joseph Lahdo, and representatives of the Swedish, Kurdish and Syriac parties in Sweden participated in the celebration.

Omar described the agreement between Turkey and the countries of Sweden and Finland as “unacceptable” and said, “The inclusion of the name YPG and YPJ, as well as the PYD in the memorandum of agreement signed between these countries is a dangerous gesture and will be in favor of Turkey, as the signatories forgot that YPG and YPJ were the ones who fought the most powerful terrorist organizations.” represented by ISIS, and had it not been for the sacrifices made by our forces, ISIS would have controlled a large part of the Middle East, as well as the danger that would have faced Europe, including Sweden and Finland.

For his part, Joseph Lahdo said that the Autonomous Administration has no intentions against neighboring Turkey and will continue to defend the people of the region against any threats, whether Turkish or others.

In a speech on behalf of the Swedish Left Party, Member of Parliament Lotta expressed her party's support for all groups claiming freedom, and expressed her admiration for the woman's experience, which she considered a true example of success. She described the agreement between Turkey and Sweden as a shameful agreement and that it would not be in Sweden's interest.

In their turn, Kader Kasirga, the parliamentarian from the ruling Socialist Party and the independent Swedish parliamentarian, Amina Kakapava, expressed their sadness over the agreement, which they considered against all democratic and human values ​​in Sweden, and that they would work hard for the government to change its position and stand by the Kurdish people against Turkish threats.
