Gaweriah: We must adhere to achievements of our revolution to confront Turkish threats

 This came during a speech delivered by the co-chair of the Executive Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration in Al-Jazira region, Nazira Gewriah, at the celebration of the people of Al-Jazira region on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the July 19 Revolution, which is now taking place in the March 12 Martyrs Stadium in Qamishlo.

Gaweriah recalled the tenth anniversary of the July 19 revolution, saying: "Today, we recall the tenth anniversary of our revolution, which was launched from the womb of the people and aimed at changing the reality. Our revolution that we are living developments in the region, made by the Syrian people in northern and eastern Syria, on the path to democracy, freedom, and a common life for the peoples of the homeland.

 Emphasizing that the July 19 revolution “become fruitful not only militarily, but in all administrative, cultural, political and social fields, starting with the liberation of the cities and regions of northern Syria from Kobani to Derek and al-Khabur and from Manbij to Raqqa and Deir ez-Zor, and from the formation of the Autonomous Administration to the entire north and east of Syria and its development  On the road to achieving the goals, aspirations and rights of all the peoples of the country and representing them at the various regional and international levels.

She said: "Our revolutions defeated ISIS not only militarily, but it failed its project and thought. Our revolution worked on building the homeland, building human, culture, language and knowledge". The revolution of the women's drew attention to the struggle of women in the revolution of the Rojava and North and East Syria, saying: "Our revolution is the revolution of women, and the leader that participated in all stages of construction and its true example and the goals raised and embraces her revolution and our society."  She stressed the need and adherence to the achievements of the revolution. "To meet the difficult stages we live in both the continuous Turkish threats aimed at destroying and the avoidance of our project from its roots, these threats are serious that are occupying new parts of our homeland in completing the Ottoman  Erdoganian project, which has previously occupied Syrian regions." "These threats reflect the hard-line fanatic thought, which our revolution was launched in order to change it. Our potential and work with the rest of the Syrian powers to protect our land, where we continue to communicate with various local and international forces in order to achieve this and prevent Turkish occupation from moving forward with their backward and denying projects."

Overcoming difficulties and threats together

She praised the will and struggle of the peoples of northern and eastern Syria against all forms of intellectual, military and economic attacks, saying: "It is important to know that our success and victories would not have been possible without our determination and commitment.  Throughout the path we have went theough internally, externally, militarily, politically and administratively, we will be able to overcome the difficulties and threats and we will break down the obstacles in our democracy and freedom.

 She emphasized: "We have to be aware that all this would not have been possible without the awareness in line with the sensitivity of the stage, and if it were not for our readiness to present our self-criticism, reveal our mistakes and work to fix them, and this is through our full commitment to the principles and values ​​through which this revolution was launched, and the principles of  brotherhood, true partnership and coexistence, the values ​​of friendship, justice and equality, the achievement of political pluralism and the participation of all national and democratic forces in working to build our administration and the work of the administration as a whole and in all its aspects to secure the requirements of life and a decent living for our people, and to achieve security and stability throughout our homeland.

 The co-chair of the Executive Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration in the Jazira region, addressed in her speech to all the peoples of northern and eastern Syria, saying: "We are all confident that victory will be our ally towards freedom and democracy and towards a decentralized pluralism for all its peoples and components.
