Syria is not as it was portrayed during the years that followed the evacuation of the French forces in 1946. The image that the rulers tried to show, especially during the rule of the Baath Party, that is, more than 50 years ago, says that there is one nationalism living in Syria, and there is only one language One culture and one religion, this is how the foundations of the fragile Syrian nation-state were built, and this was the main reason that pushed the country since the spring of 2011 towards a crisis and a grinding war that has not ended to this day.

On July 19, 2012, a revolution was launched from the city of Kobani in northern Syria, led by the Kurds. The city was purged of the forces and institutions of the Damascus government, and then the revolution moved from one city to another; To include Afrin and the most prominent cities of the Jazira region.

These days, we mark the tenth anniversary of its launch, a memory that the people of North, East and Syria celebrate every year, as an expression of the revolution's representation to them.

This revolution was distinguished from other Middle Eastern revolutions. It was completely different from the Syrian revolution. The difference is the thought and project pursued by the revolution from the first day until now. This thought has contributed to the organization, management and protection of society.

We are talking about the ideology of leader Ocalan and the democratic nation project that he created, as an alternative to the nation-state system that has led to many wars.

The co-chair of the Legislative Council in Manbij, Mohammad Ali al-Abo, said during an interview with ANHA’s agency, “The thing that helped spread this revolution and its success and the involvement of all north and east Syria in it is the same pain for all Syrian society in general, and if we want to expand on the matter, we will go back to before. The emergence of ISIS, where the Syrian people were living in a state of political and intellectual dispersion and the confiscation of political opinion, all components were living in this state, injustice was not limited to one component or another.

Proceeding from the fact that the historical land on which Syria was founded is a common homeland for a number of nationalities, religions and sects, the Syrians gathered in the midst of the revolution, the establishment of the Syrian Democratic Forces was announced in 2015, which brought together the military formations of all the components of the region, and led the war against ISIS until the liberation of the entire north and east Syria from the mercenaries, then the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria was established, which united the seven autonomous and civil administrations in the region within one body and one umbrella, which are the “Autonomous Administration of the Euphrates Region, the Civil Administration in Manbij, the Civil Administration in Tabqa, the Civil Administration in Raqqa, and the Civil Administration In Deir ez-Zor, the Autonomous Administration in the Jazira region, the Autonomous Administration in the Afrin region.

Mohammad Shaheen, co-chair of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration in the Euphrates region, says that "the July 19th Revolution has an ideological base, and was based on the principle of the democratic nation, and it is for all components, and its slogan "The July 19th Revolution is the revolution of all peoples and components" was present on correct basis, and not on a racial or religious basis, or  religion or one nation, July 19 is the revolution of all nations that struggle for democracy and freedom.

Mohammad Shaheen added in the context of his speech, “Therefore, and years after the start of the revolution, the components in north and east Syria of Kurds, Arabs, Syriacs, Armenians, Circassians and Turkmens have become within this system and run themselves within the institutions of the Autonomous Administration, in all administrative, women’s, youth or Others, there are representatives of all components."

Meanwhile, Mohammad Ali al-Abbo believes that "the state of loss, ignorance and injustice that the components reached made them need a savior. At this time, the July 19th Revolution, led by women, emerged as the first revolution launched in the region under the leadership of women. It was able to reach a state of liberation from terrorism and became the focus of admiration for the whole world.”

Al-Abou continues, "From this point of view, all the components of the Syrian people in the north and east of Syria saw that this revolution represented them, and everyone saw that this revolution represented them to get rid of terrorism, and all the components were one hand against injustice and terrorism so that we could live again in peace and obtain our dignity.

The head of the Circassian Association in Manbij, Samer Habbak, says, "After the alleged Syrian revolution and the entry of the Free Army into Manbij and the formation of the battalions, and the presence of ISIS in the region, we Circassians suffered a lot, as did all the components of the people in north and east Syria, and after the liberation from ISIS there was a vacuum, and it was There must be a thought that leads the region after liberation, and there was the idea of AANES, and it was an experiment that proved successful and improved the administration of the region in this short period of time and provided the citizen with services and work jobs, and most importantly, it provided safety.”

He adds, "This success had an impact. This democratic thought, which was taken from Ocalan's ideas, helped in finding a specific approach that was followed and applied, and the project proved successful, so that some countries are now studying this thought and the project of the democratic nation, especially the joint presidency."

While Mohammad Shaheen says, "Everyone knows that the July 19th Revolution and the democratic nation's project and AANES in its foundation are from Mr. Ocalan's philosophy, so all components of north and east Syria have a moral duty towards the leader, because this revolution was achieved thanks to him, so it must always be there. Activists of all components demand his freedom."

The co-chair of the Legislative Council in the Democratic Civil Administration in Manbij and its countryside, Mohammad Ali al-Abbo, believes that “the base and basic strength of our Syrian society lies in its diversity and harmony, but when we talk about regimes, they try to spread dispersion in the cultures of the components and keep them away from each other, even There will be no revolutionary force that can destroy reality in all its forms socially, politically and culturally whenever it wants, because the power of the people is the main force that no party can stand in front of.

For his part, Samer Habbak, head of the Circassian Association in Manbij, says, "In light of the current threats from the Turkish side, we affirm that we will only succeed by joining hands with each other. The Syrian Democratic Council, which is the political representative of the administration and the military forces, has opened the door for dialogue to every Syrian wherever he is. It is present in the world, for everyone who loves to serve the country and builds the country and is not linked to foreign agendas, so the doors are open to him.”

Samer Habbak talks about the suffering of the Circassians in the changes in the Syrian situation, saying, "With the start of the alleged Syrian revolution and the advent of the Free Army and then ISIS, the Circassians suffered a lot, depriving us of practicing our customs, but after the formation of the Autonomous Administrations, the Circassian Association was formed that revived this component that was forbidden It takes a long time to do any activity like all the components."

Regarding the revolution’s ability to achieve integration among all the components, and if the actual participation of the Circassians in the gains that were achieved after July 19 is achieved, Samer Habbak says, “We are from the people of the region, and part of this entire process, we are present with the components, the defense line, the military and political forces and in all fields.”

As for Mohammad Shaheen, he talks about the reality of the Kurds before and after July 19, and says, "The Kurds are like oppressed nationalities that did not have an entity, and he was not interested in them before the July 19th Revolution and they did not have a presence in international balances."

He adds, "But nowadays, the world has begun to recognize the Kurds after they fought the war against ISIS, and wants to stand by them to achieve their freedom, especially that the Kurds have an ancient history and culture, and they are an ancient people in the Middle East, and participated in building the civilization of the Middle East, so the Kurds, thanks to the July 19th Revolution and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in north and east Syria have become an entity and the spirit has returned to their culture and history, like the rest of the components.
