People Defense Forces confirmed the use of internationally prohibited phosphorous bombs by the Turkish occupation army against Guerilla fighters in legitimate defense areas of Başûr (Southern Kurdistan).

Media Center of People's Defense Forces (HPG) confirmed, in a written statement issued today, that the Turkish occupation used internationally prohibited phosphorous bombs.

In its statement, said: "The occupiers, who could not withstand the resistance of the Guerrilla, bombed the resistance squares in legitimate defense areas with phosphorous gas bombs, and also bombed them 20 times with internationally prohibited chemical weapons and explosives, and 9 times with warplanes."

In its statement, the Center also revealed the killing of 8 Turkish occupation soldiers and the destruction of an occupation site, as part of a series of qualitative operations carried out by Guerilla fighters against the Turkish occupation, in the spirit of July 14 resistance.
