Child Protection Office decries Turkish bombing on Arab Hassan village

On Tuesday, the Turkish occupation bombed the village of Arab Hassan, located on the northern side of the city of Manbij, resulting in martyrdom of the child “Mohammed Abdel Latif Al-Hafni (13 years old) and the child Ahmed Fouad Al-Hafni (12 years).

The statement was read by the co-chair of the Child Protection Office in Manbij, Omar Saeed, in the presence of the office's members and members of the Democratic Civil Administration in the city, in front of the Democratic Civil Administration building in the city center.

The statement said, "The Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries are still bombing civilian and innocent cities and villages along the dividing line with the Syrian Democratic Forces on a daily basis.

On June 29, 2022, the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation bombed the village of Arab Hassan, north of Manbij, which led to martyrdom of the two children, Muhammad Abdul Latif Al Hefny (13 years old) and Ahmed Fouad Al Hefni (12 years old).”

He continued: "We at the Child Protection Office in the city of Manbij and its countryside, console the families of the two children and ourselves, We are not surprised by the criminal acts of these mercenaries and their supporters, as they have a long and dark history of killing, kidnapping, displacement and demographic change.

The statement called on "the guarantor states of the 2019 ceasefire agreement, to put pressure on the Turkish occupation state to stop these increasing violations and give priority to the language of reason and dialogue.
