Ferzanda Munther confirms leader Ocalan’s initiative will include Syria and other countries

During 23 years, the people of Kurdistan and Middle East work tirelessly at all levels to achieve physical freedom for Ocalan’s leader, in which his freedom is considered a guarantee to all societies, particularly NE, Syria people those who adopt his ideology as major pillar for their revolution.

Several institutions, committees and concerned authorities had been formed to disseminate leader Ocalan's thinking and philosophy throughout the world, and to struggle rights and diplomatically to expose the violations by the Turkish fascist state of his right to an Imarli Prison, since his abduction in 1999.

The most prominent of these initiatives is the Syrian Initiative for the Freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan that was formed on October 9^th, 2019 by by many political, cultural, diplomatic, human rights, and medical figures from all Syrian components, in addition to notables and sheikhs of the region’s clans.

The spokesman for the Syrian Initiative for the Freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, Ferzanda Munther, touched upon the reasons for the formation of this initiative, stating: "His (Ocala’s leader) valuable standing among the peoples of Syria as a result of his staying for almost 20 years, and the unfair courts applicable to the leader, are major reasons for the formation of the initiative."

Ferzanda Munther noted that the initiative was initially operating under the name of the "Committee for the Defense of Leader Abdullah Ocalan", and they decided to change its name to the "Syrian Initiative" after the political and diplomatic scope of its work expanded, and added: "The initiative includes thinkers, academics, human rights defenders, lawyers and politicians from (Kurds, Arabs) , Syriacs, Armenians, Circassians and Turkmen) and believers in the leader’s thought and philosophy, in addition to notables and sheikhs of Arab and Kurdish clans.”

Munther emphasized that they seek to reach all influential global figures within societies, such as artists, intellectuals, politicians and others, to unify visions and demand the physical freedom of leader Ocalan together, and coordinate with human rights defenders of the leader's cause to expose the violations and crimes of the fascist Turkish state in Imrali.

About the mechanism of the initiative’s work in north and east Syria, Munther explained that “the initiative works jointly in the work among all its members and not in the form of sections. The most important thing for us is to achieve the main objective of the initiative, which is to disseminate the leader’s thought to every person within the community, and to achieve the freedom of all peoples. through the physical freedom of the leader.

The activities of issuing periodic reports and statements on the status of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, communicating with all personalities in society, and carrying out activities and events on the platforms of virtual communication sites to introduce the leader’s thought and join the campaigns for his release, are among the most important tasks of the members of the Syrian initiative.

He added, "The initiative seeks to achieve its goals by organizing various social events, such as meetings, lectures, seminars, etc., in addition to human rights activities as well."

Referring to the "Time for Freedom" campaign that was launched earlier to demand the physical freedom of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, Ferzanda Munther said: "We seek to strengthen diplomatic, human rights and social work in the context of the It's Time for Freedom campaign, for the freedom of the leader is a new resurgence for all Kurdistan and the Middle East, by solving all the crises in the world.”

Farzanda Munther, at the conclusion of his speech, stressed the need to strengthen the popular struggle in this context, and said: "Violations against the leader target all the peoples of Kurdistan and the Middle East. The theses of leader Ocalan are a solution to the freedom of all peoples and all of humanity."
