SDF: Martyrdom of Farhad Shibli is irrefutable evidence of committing immense crimes againt our people

The General Command of the Syrian Democratic Forces issued a statement regarding the martyrdom of the fighter Farhad Shibli; As a result of being targeted by a Turkish occupation UAV in Southern Kurdistan.

The statement reads:

With more determination, we received the news of the martyrdom the fighter, Farhad Shibli who was martyred in cowardly attack by Turkish occupation UAV, Turkish state still continues its terrorists’ attacks, but these crimes will not deter our people in continuing the liberation of the occupied lands from terrorist forces represented by Turkey and its gangs.

The struggler, Farhad is well known with great sacrifices in NE, Syria, he devoted himself to serve his people by all means in dire conditions.

Martyr Farhad’s long political and organizational career contributed greatly to the establishment of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria and the development of the concepts of struggle among our people and cadres. It also rooted the spirit of tolerance and cooperation between the various components in the region, based on the principles and ideas of the brotherhood of peoples, as he played a key and effective role as a political leader in building and realizing national organizational, intellectual and social construction projects, and it has become an integral part of the gains that are the product of a heroic battle waged by our people and our martyrs.

The targeting of Martyr Farhad by the Turkish occupation is a reflection of the Turkish criminal behavior against our fighters and our people, and confirms the legitimacy of the political, military and social struggle led by our people and forces in the face of the occupation’s aggressions and its continuous aggression.

We confirm all the desperate attempts in targeting our people will not deter us in continuing the struggle and resistance, showing the highest level of sacrifices. Rather, it will increase our determination to cling in the gains and values that had been achieved by martyrs’ bloods in the completion to liberate our occupied areas and deter and foiling all the Turkish occupation aggression.

 Our forces, which have been promised our people in protecting the people and the land, will not forgive the occupation for its crime and all previous crimes, and emphasize retaliation by legitimate and appropriate military methods, and escalate the struggle until the last occupying soldier is expelled from our lands.

On this basis, we offer our condolences to the martyr's family and companions and to our people, and we affirm that we are absolutely certain that the martyr's blood will be the beginning of a new campaign on the path of mass and political organization in north and east Syria.
