The body of martyr Farhad Shibli headed towards Rojava

Hundreds of Başûr (Southern Kurdistan) residents farewell the co-chair of Executive Council of Autonomous Administration North and East Syria, Farhad Shibli, who was martyred after being targeted by Turkish occupation drone, to be buried in Rojava.

Last Friday morning, a Turkish drone targeted a car in Klar district of Sulaymaniya, martyring 4 people and wounding another.

Yesterday, AANES announced the martyrdom of co-chair of Executive Council of AANES, Farhad Shibli, who was on a visit to the city of Sulaymaniya for some medical examinations and treatment.

Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria held Iraqi government and Southern Kurdistan government responsible, and demanded that they clarify their position on the terrorist act committed by Turkish state.

Today, hundreds of people from the 4 parts of Kurdistan, in addition to members and representatives of political parties and civil organizations, gathered in front of Forensic Medicine Institution in the center of Sulaymaniya, to farewell the body of the martyr Farhad Shibli.

The funeral procession set off in front of the Forensic Medicine Institution, and headed towards Semalka crossing between Rojava and Başûr, to be buried there.
