Amina Omar: Turkish state seeks to implement its colonial plans in the region

Amina Omar added that the Syrian file "is being neglected by the international community because of its preoccupation with the Russian-Ukrainian war, and if this indicates anything, the Syrian crisis will deepen further."

The co-chair of the Syrian Democratic Council also noted that "the Justice and Development Party seeks to win again in the upcoming elections, so it wants to exploit the political vacuum and occupying more Syrian territories to cover up its bad internal situation from the collapse of economic, and trying to gain popularity to win the elections."

On any possible attack by the Turkish occupation state on north and east Syria, Amina Omar explained, "The Turkish state wants to expand in our areas, as it threatens repeatedly to launch a military operation against us," stressing, "We will not allow any military operation on our areas, and we stand with our military forces to address it ."
