The grandchildren keep the shrapnel that fall on them in a plastic bag, which almost killed their grandmother's life, a few miles from the center of the occupied city of Azaz in the northern countryside of Aleppo, perhaps one day they will be signs of being subjected to barbaric bombardment.

More than 700 people live in the villages of Kafr Anton and Tel Ajar, which are adjacent to the Menagh military airport, and which are located on the line of contact with the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, on the international road Aleppo-Dilok.

Since the occupation of Afrin canton, by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries, the villages north of al-Shahba canton, especially near the city of Tel Rifaat and International Road 214, has bombed by Turkey with rocket, artillery shells, and drones.

ANHA's monitored the situation of the residents of the villages of Tel Ajar and Kafr Anton in the northern countryside of Al-Shahba canton.

ANHA met Duja Al-Juma, which said that they hardly differentiate between the day and night, because of Turkish bombing on the village.

The elderly Duja was injured in the right shoulder a few days ago, during the bombing around her house in the village of Kafr Anton. She was subsequently taken to Tal Rifaat Hospital, and then to the city of Aleppo.

Duja indicated that their agriculture is a main source of income for the people in that area, but they are almost deprived of heading towards their fields due to the shells that fall on them constantly, by saying “the one who leaves his house considers himself dead, because we do not know when a shell will fall on us while we are outside the house, and on this basis we are almost deprived of agriculture in the area."

Duja confirmed that after they were forcibly displaced three times from their homes during the Syrian crisis, and said: We are in our home no matter what the occupation does, death is easier for us than leaving our land."
