Political parties in Raqqa condemn the Turkish attacks

Members of the Kurdish Democratic Unity Party in Syria, the Syrian National Democratic Alliance Party, the Kurdistan Fraternity Party, the Future Syria Party, the Kurdish Leftist Party, the Democratic Union Party, and the Kurdistan Republican Party - Syria participated in the statement.

The statement was delivered at the Panorama roundabout on the western edge of Raqqa city, by his representative and member of the Political Office of the Kurdistan Fraternity Party Jumana Khalaf, and the text of the statement read:

Since the beginning of the Syrian revolution, the Turkish state has been fueling the Syrian crisis by supporting and embracing terrorist groups to implement their agenda and ambitions to revive the glories of the Ottoman Empire and revive the Misak-ı Millî, which led to the deviation of the Syrian revolution from its path and turning into a crisis.

"The Turkish government sought to prolong it and stand in the way of any solution, and through its alliances with forces whose interests intersect with each other, conspired against the Syrian people," the statement said. It creates pretexts to intervene in the Syrian affairs, sometimes on the pretext of refugees, and sometimes on the pretext of protecting its national security, as it occupied Jarablus, Azaz, al-Bab, Girê Spî/Tal Abyad, Serêkaniyê/Ras al-Ain and Afrin.”

The statement continued, "It attacks on a daily basis the safe civilians in Kobani, Ain Issa, Tal Tamr, Tal Rifaat, Manbij, and al-Shahba, and seeks to displace its residents to bring about demographic change and create fighting and strife within these areas among the population, and today it seeks to strike stability within the Autonomous Administration areas to take revenge on the free people." who supported and participated with the Syrian Democratic Forces in defeating the terrorism that it sponsored.”

And from here, we, as political parties, call upon our Syrian people, especially in the north and east of Syria, to be fully aware and to unite and solidarity in the face of this terrorism represented by the Erdogan Justice Party (AKP), to rally around our administration, and to defend our free will to live a decent life.

"We condemn, denounce all forms of Turkish interference and Turkish attacks on our regions," and appealed to "the international community, the United Nations, civil society organizations, human rights organizations and human rights organizations in the world to take a firm stand and not to apply double standards to our issues."

In its conclusion, the statement stressed that the human rights organizations “take a stance rejecting these attacks and curbing this Turkish aggression, and to be supportive of our issues in accordance with United Nations resolutions and international charters, especially Resolution 2,254, and to be effective and serious in working to end the crisis and not to be involved in it through their silence and averting their eyes from What our people are going through in Syria."
