The Turkish occupation authorities, with the support of Qatari and Kuwaiti Brotherhood organizations, continue to make demographic change in the occupied canton of Afrin, in preparation for its annexation to Turkish lands.

The processes of demographic change and the building of settlements in the occupied territories continue at a time when the President of the Turkish occupation state, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, is talking about his country's intention to deport one million "Syrian refugees" from Turkey and resettle them in the occupied areas in northern Syria.

In this context, sources told the Afrin-Syria Human Rights Organization that a Qatari association has completed building a settlement in Shia district, and it is scheduled to open on Thursday.

It also said that the so-called "Khair al-Sham Humanitarian Association", with the support of the so-called "Kuwait International Mercy" association, has been working for nearly two months, in coordination with the mercenaries of the "Sultan Suleiman Shah Division", which occupies Shia district, to build a new settlement within agricultural lands on the outskirts of the district, in the name of the village of "Nawaf Al-Khair".

According to the organization's sources, the settlement includes about 200 apartments, and the families of mercenaries who participated in the fighting in Libya and other countries in the world are to be settled.
