Aziz Ali warns of annihilation attacks on Shingal

The danger posed to Shingal still go on as the hostile policy adopted by the government led by Mustafa Kadhimi and the Kurdistan Democratic Party, the PDK, against the Yazidi people proceeds.

On 9 October 2020 the Mustafa Kadhimi led Government and the PDK signed an agreement to control the Shingal Province after both abandoned it in 2014 as the ISIS mercenaries attacks the Yazidi component.

Since 18 April Turkish occupation forces attack the Medya Defense Zones in Southern Kurdistan. Since 2 May the Shingal Province witnesses a state of periodic calmness but observers warn that the attacks on the Yazidis still prevail.

Academician in the Democratic Society Academy in the Hasaka Region Azizi Ali told ANHA that attacks on the Shingal from time to another has historical perspectives.

Ali added : '' Shingal represents the core and origin of the Kurdish people that contributed to the human civilization and to the building of bridges between all peoples in the Middle East. For this it is targeted''.

All capitalist powers such as the Turkish occupation state aim to destroy the ties that link peoples and Shingal represents the thesis of relations between peoples''.

Ali said the Turkish occupation state is preoccupied with fears it perceives in the democratic nation idea and that of peoples in the Middle East so Kadhimi led government and PDK joined the plot hatched by the Turkish occupation state to block Shingal and stifle its people and to block the NES.

Ali believes that the danger still posed to Shingal, warning against the repercussions of the calmness witnessed in Shingal as the lull that comes before the storm.

The academician said at the end of his statement to NHA called on all peoples living together in the region to protect Shingal and its people '' our peoples comprehend that dangers posed and they are ready to defend the presence of the Yazidi component that embodies the identity and dignity of the Middle Eastern peoples''.
