Al-Sattam: Turkish occupation goal is to keep the region in a state of permanent tension

Turkish escalation against the region is inseparable from its escalation in legitimate defense areas. Rather, it continues to launch its attacks on north and east Syria, after its inability to achieve the desired result in its war against People Defense Forces fighters in legitimate defense areas, in cooperation with Kurdistan Democratic Party forces.

Al-Sattam rejected the Turkish occupation attacks on the region and the displacement of people from their areas, noting, "The goal of Turkish occupation state is to occupy more areas, restore the Ottoman Empire and expand economic ambitions, and to keep the region in a state of permanent tension."
