Citizens, politicians and activists in NES called the Syrian people to perceive the dangers posed by the settlement project engineered by the Turkish occupation state and to stand up to it as it threatens the unity of Syrian land and people.

The statement made by the Turkish President Recep Tayip Erdogan to settle more than a million Syrian refugees in North and east Syria received popular discontent by te people of NES more notably those IDPs.

Citizen Ala' Umar from the Shadadi district in southern Hasaka Canton indicated to the statements made by Erdogan as a virtual plan to create demographic change in the region, saying ''it is a Turkish plan to change the demography of Syrian cities''.

Umar said this would create rifts in the social fabric of the Syrian society by robbing peoples properties and conferring tem to others.

Umar called on all Syrians to take a firm action towards the Turkish occupation states' plans and its schemes to bring a demographic change in Syrian cities and then to be annexed to Turkish territories. ''All Syrians with no exception ought to play their roles in preventing Erdogan led plans in NES'', Uamr said.

From his part political activist Ghidef Dighem said Erdoagn seeks to polish his image inside Turkey before the elections to be held in the country, in addition to his bids to subvert the social fabric in Syria and to create a rift in the society and sow contempt and malice and to empty the region from its indigenous people to be replaced by his supporters.   

Dighem called on the Syrian society to perceive the dangers posed by the Erdogan bid and scheme and to be one hand to take a firm action towards such schemes calling as well on the international community to take a rapid stance too against the demographic change taken against the indigenous Syrian people living in their territories.

In turn, feminist activist in the city of Hasaka Muna Hemash said ' the Syrian people ought to know the plots and schemes hatched by Turkish occupation state that it seeks to take into operation in North and East Syria by building settlements and creating demographic change. 

Munas said '' Syrian by all classes should be one hand to stand up to the settlement plot by the Turkish occupation state that tries to subvert the social fabric in Syria''.
