​​​​​​​SDF reveals the outcome of latest Turkish aggression

Media Center of SDF issued a statement, in which it revealed the outcome of latest Turkish occupation state's aggression on the villages and towns of NE Syria, which reads:

During the past 24 hours, Turkish occupation and its mercenaries launched artillery and missile attacks on dozens of villages and towns in NE Syria, directly endangering the lives of tens of thousands of civilians, as well as destroying large areas of agricultural crops, 2 days after the leaders of occupation army and its intelligence services visited the Syrian-Turkish borders, that Turkish bombing was accompanied by an intense flight of drones over the region.

The bombardment extended from the villages of Sherawa district, south of Afrin, to Manbij, Kobani, and the villages of Ain Issa district, with a distance of about 280 km. The number of villages that were directly bombarded reached about 53 villages, in which about 40 tons of explosive materials were used.

In Afrin and Shahba, the villages of: Soghanka, Aqiba, Deir Jamal, Kshta'ar, Tanb, Shuragha, Mara'anaz, Tatmarsh, Kafr Anton, A'alqamiya, Mengh, Ain Diqna, Baylunia, Sheikh Issa, Harbel, Smouqa, Til Madeq, Shahba Dam, Ta'ana, Mushayrfa, Ziwan and the vicinity of Til Rifa'at town were bombarded with more than 700 artillery, mortar and tank shells.

In Manbij and the vicinity of Al-Bab, the villages of Hoshariya, Al-Jat, Tokhar, A'aoun al-Dadat, Mohsenly, Arab Hassan, Um Jaloud, Al-Dandanya, Al-Sayada, Al-Yalanly, Qart Weran, Til Torin, Al-Kawkly, were bombed by more than 177 mortar shells.

In Kobani, the villages of Zor Maghar, Shiyukh Fawqani, Kharb A'atto, Bayadiya, Siftk, Buban, Ziyara, Ashma, Mazra'at Ahmed Muner and Mashtanour in the center of Kobani city were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling by more than 67 shells.

The villages of Mua'allaq, Mushayrfa, Jahbal, Sayida, Jadeda, Al-Saqr Restaurant and M4 international road were bombarded with more than 30 artillery shells.

Turkish occupation has deliberately targeted overcrowded villages and civilian farms, as well as deliberately targeting towns and cities during rush hour with the aim of terrorizing civilians and preventing them from continuing their work.

The statement continued, "The barbaric Turkish bombing is only an actual translation of genocidal plans led by brutal Turkish mind against the peoples of the region, and undoubtedly requires a concrete position from international guarantor parties as well as international human rights institutions to condemn this aggression and to transfer the file of Turkish attacks and invasions in Syria to international courts, emphasizing that occupation is the basis of all conflicts and crises.

The statement added, "In parallel with these attacks, Turkish official media published false news about the martyrdom of 21 of our fighters during the bombing, we confirm that this news is false, as the bombing directly targeted civilian gatherings and resulted in the injury of a woman and her child, as well as extensive damage to dozens of homes."
