Politicians in Deir al-Zor: war against Kurds is a war against all components

Turkish occupation state is pursuing a comprehensive expansionist occupation policy in Syria and Iraq through the attacks that have escalated their pace since last April 17, on the regions of southern Kurdistan and north and east Syria, during which internationally banned weapons are used without international accountability.

NE Syria, southern Kurdistan and Shengal are witnessing great resentment towards the attacks of Turkish occupation, and the people of these areas confirmed their rejection of these attacks through statements by politicians and intellectuals; that the attacks target all components of the region.

In this regard, ANHA agency met the co-chair of People's House in the town of Hajen in eastern countryside of Deir al-Zor, Salah al-Salman, who said, "The repeated barbaric Turkish attacks are a breach of international regulations and covenants, and the escalation of attacks on northern Iraq have done with the approval of Iraqi government and with the participation of Kurdistan Democratic Party.

He added, "Turkish occupation state launches comprehensive attacks and claims that it is attacking just the Kurdish people but that is not true, these policies have become exposed to our people in Middle East, and we are fully aware of these plans."

And continued, "Turkish occupation state is working to strike the social fabric and the unity of the components of the peoples in NE Syria and southern Kurdistan through its attacks to achieve its colonial plans in the region in general."

Head of Future Syria Party in eastern countryside of Deir al-Zor, Muhammad al-Zayed, also explained that Turkish occupation state' goal from the attacks is to occupy Syrian and Iraqi lands, and added, "The inhuman practices of Turkish occupation state are aimed at fighting the Autonomous Administration project, which achieved success after eliminating ISIS mercenaries in the region."

He explained that "Turkish occupation state, through its mercenaries and terrorist cells, is working to sow discord among the components of the region to dismantle and control it, but this is impossible for it."

At the conclusion of his speech, Al-Zayed stressed, "The of Autonomous Administration project and the solidarity of all components is the main guarantor for the people of the region to stand against any aggressor, whether Turkish occupation state or others."
