Afrin War Wounded denounce attack on Medya Zones

In a statement released today the War Wounded Foundation in the Afrin Canton denounced the attacks carried out by the Turkish occupation forces against guerrilla forces in the Medya Defense Zones in Southern Kurdistan.

The statement that was made in the Berwedan IDP Camp in the Fafinr district of the Shahba Canton was attended by tens of people.

The statement called that acts of the Kurdistan Democratic Party be revealed and disclosed. ''these acts serve the enemies of the Kurds and those of Kurdistan''.

Attacks of the Iraqi army on Shingal and the Yazidi people were condemned ''this blatant attack is an extension to the massacres perpetrated by ISIS and orchestrated by Turkey''.

On the aims of the fascist Turkish strategy in North and East Syria the statement noted ''we know very well that Turkish occupation state seeks to annex other swaths of geography to Turkey to occupy it and rob its riches and resources''.

We call on the international community to put an end to these acts of the Turkish occupation state and to make it abide by and respect international laws. The acts of the Turkish occupation state contravene the United Nations Charter and the neighbourly relations''.
