Mass protesters in Euphrates region condemn Turkish genocide attacks

Thousands of demonstrators set out from the Women's Free Square in the city of Kobani, in a demonstration bearing the slogan "With the will of the peoples and guerrillas, we will defeat the occupation, fascism and betrayal of the Kurdistan Democratic Party", the people of the city of Kobani and its villages, Sarin district, Ain Issa and Girê Spî / Tal Abyad, belonging to the Euphrates region, from the Arab and Kurdish components participated in the demonstration.

The demonstrators raised pictures of the martyrs and the leader Ocalan, and headed to Peace Square in the north of the city of Kobani, where the Co-Chair of the Legislative Council for Democratic Autonomous Administration in the Euphrates region, Hussein Al-Sheikh, delivered a speech in which he touched on the echo of the Rojava revolution, north and east Syria, and said: "We say to those who cooperate with our enemies; stop betting on this country, we have the strength, the will, and the strength to persevere on this good, pure land.

Hussein Al-Sheikh added: "We, in this country, NE Syria condemn and denounce any external interference on this blessed and good land which has been drenched with the blood of martyrs.

Then, on behalf of the Martyrs' Families Council, Friaz Barkal, the co-chair of the Finance Body in the Euphrates region, delivered a speech in which she said, "It is important to know our enemy from our friend, but unfortunately the Barzani family's approach is the treason. We have always said that they should retreat, but they did not listen."

Since the Turkish invasion on Başûr Kurdistan, all Rojava cities have witnessed denouncing and anti-attack demonstrations which have previously taken place in the city of Kobani and its countryside.
