Massive crowds of Jazira region participate in March Dignity in Qamishlo

After the arrival of the delegations coming from the cities and districts of Hasaka and Qamishlo cantons of the Jazira region, a march of dignity against occupation and treachery was launched a short while ago, under the slogan "With the will of the peoples and guerrillas, we will defeat the occupation and treachery", from the Osaman Sabri roundabout, west of Qamishlo city.

The Dignity March was organized to condemn the genocidal attacks launched by the Turkish occupation army, with the participation of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, on the legitimate defense areas in Başûr (Southern Kurdistan), and in support of the guerrilla resistance against these attacks.

Also participating in the march are representatives of the Democratic Autonomous Administration bodies and councils in the region, Kurdish, Arab and Syriac political parties in north and east Syria, in addition to members of women's movements and organizations, social, civil, youth and security organizations (Internal Security Forces), male and female artists.

The march took the main street leading to Amuda Street, and in the meantime, it roamed the main street of Qamishlo, amid chants of "No to treason", "Long live the resistance of the guerrilla", "Death to betrayal and occupation", "Guerilla is a response, and the Kurds are guerrilla."

The participants in the dignity march raise pictures of leader Abdullah Ocalan and the flags of the People’s Defense Forces (HPG), the Free Women’s Units-Star (YJA-Star), the flags of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, the Syrian Revolutionary Youth Movement, Kongra Star, and the flags of political parties, the Democratic Society Movement, and pictures of guerrilla fighters who were martyred in the mountains of Kurdistan.

They also raise placards reading "Guerilla is our dignity", "Long live the guerrilla resistance", and "With the will of the peoples and guerrilla, we will defeat the occupation and treachery."

The march is scheduled to reach March 12 Stadium in Qamishlo, for the participants to gather in the square next to the stadium, to receive several speeches, including a speech on behalf of the Democratic Autonomous Administration in the Jazira region and the Democratic Union Party (PYD).
