Women's Protection Units commander, Evenar Dirk, evaluated the units' third conference, and spoke to ANHA agency about the most prominent discussions that took place within it and its most important outputs.

Women's Protection Units (YPJ) held its third conference, which lasted for 2 days, on April 30 in Hasaka city, under the slogan "The Guarantor of Women's Freedom, Protecting the Land and Defeating the Occupation", in the presence of 400 fighters.

At the beginning of her speech, she congratulated the convening of the conference on leader Abdullah Ocalan and all the martyrs, She said: The conference came to discuss the most prominent achievements of Women's Protection Units over the past 3 years, as well as the shortcomings that it experienced and how to overcome them in the future.

She added, "During the past 3 years, the attacks on north and east Syria intensified, and through these attacks they targeted women seeking for freedom and fighters".

The commander pointed to the discussions that took place within it, saying: "The most prominent discussions revolved around how to liberate the occupied territories, take revenge for women who were subjected to violence and torture, and rebuild and strengthen their organization."

Emphasizing that Women's Protection Units have a long legacy over 10 years of continuous struggle.

Regarding the decisions they reached, the commander Evenar Dirk, said: "The conference resulted in many decisions, the most prominent of which is the liberation of occupied territories and how to protect the gains and values of Rojava revolution and strengthen our organization accordingly."
