The start of fourth meeting of committee for drafting social contract in Hasaka Canton

The Committee for Drafting Social Contract for North and East Syria is discussing a draft contract with various community segments in Darbasiya district of Hasaka Canton, in order to complete the work of its third phase, which includes explaining the draft contract to the largest possible number of segments of society before submitting it to the vote in the General Council in Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria .

This meeting comes as part of a series of meetings that are scheduled to be held in the district, to complement the explanation of the contract to the largest possible number of segments of society.

Today's meeting includes a discussion of the Draft Contract by Social Contract Drafting Committee, with co-chairs of the district councils "Til Karma, Qarmana, Ghanamia, Segir" and the Communes in Darbasiya district, and co-chairs of the district's institutions.

The meeting began with the presence of members of mini-committee for drafting the social contract, "Akram Hasso, Ilham Issa Matly, and Thabt Jawhar."

The committee had discussed the draft during 3 previous meetings with Hasaka District Council, the communes and institutions of Al-Hol district on 14th of this April, the councils, communes and institutions of Hasaka on 16th of the same month, and with the councils, communes and institutions of Shaddady district on the 18th of the same month also.

The committee aims in its new third phase of drafting the contract, and through such meetings, to reach the largest possible number of institutions, councils, and segments of society in NE Syria, to explain the content of the draft contract, and to receive opinions and suggestions.
