​​​​​​​Turkey continues the demographic change in occupied Afrin

Day by day, the processes of demographic change are increasing at all levels in occupied Canton of Afrin, through the construction of settlements with funding and support from Gulf and Palestinian organizations operating under the names of "charities"

The processes of demographic change in occupied Canton of Afrin, intensively, are part of the systematic Turkish policies.

On April 18, president of fascist Turkish state, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, said that his country will do everything in its power to ensure the return of Syrians to their country as soon as possible.

Researchers and observers of Syrian situation, especially in occupied areas, believe that Turkey seeks to settle the largest number of residents in occupied areas within the settlements it established throughout the period of its occupation of the region, with the support and funding of dozens of Turkish, Gulf and Palestinian organizations and some foreign organizations.

Turkish occupation authorities granted Syrians in Turkey, Turkish personal cards, instead of Syrian one, after the Syrians were sent to their country, they sought to consolidate the occupation in Syrian territories under the pretext that citizens in areas they occupied hold Turkish personal cards.

In addition to all this, Turkish occupation authorities imposed learning in Turkish language and opened universities and institutes in the occupied areas, affiliated directly to their universities in Turkish cities, in addition to changing the features of the region and constructing roads and services in the style of Turkish cities, in addition to imposing Turkish currency and preventing the circulation of Syrian currency.

Turkey mainly seeks to achieve the ambitions of Ottomans and implement its colonial plans in the long term in Syria, and to achieve so-called "Mille Charter".

According to the estimates of local human rights organizations, Turkish occupation state has settled more than 400,000 settlers in occupied Canton of Afrin since its occupation on March 18, 2018.

And private sources from occupied Afrin reported that the mercenaries of so-called "Sultan Murad Division" are establishing a new settlement within the forested lands, after cutting thousands of trees, between the area in the village of Kafroum and A'alaka of Shra district in occupied Afrin.

The sources pointed out that the leader of "Sultan Murad Division" of Turkish occupation army, A'araba Idris, directly supervises the establishment of settlement under the name of (Kafroum).

According to the information, the settlement consists of 360 apartments in order to settle about 70 families brought by Turkey from various Syrian regions, in addition to the families of mercenaries.

It is worth noting that A'araba Idris, is the nephew of former Minister of Defense in so-called "Syrian Interim Government" Salim Idris.

Turkish occupation authorities, with the support of Association (Live in Dignity and White Hands), are working to build 2 settlements in the villages of Aghjala and Korka in Jandres district in occupied Canton of Afrin.
