PYD: Turkish occupation won't break spirit of resistance

In a statement released today by the General Council of  the Democratic Union Party, the PYD, it said:

''in an overall war launched by the fascist Turkish state on the people of Southern Kurdistan and that of Rojava, led by the alliance of MHP-AKP to strike at the stability of peaceful populated areas in North and East Syria due to its chauvinist and racial mentality against peoples of the Middle East and notably the Kurdish people.

Today , the Turkish fascism via its criminal military machine struck the center of the city of Kobane and a number of villages on the Euphrates Region with artillery, that caused injuries and destruction in line with shelling on a number of villages in the Shahba Canton.

All these attacks are carried out under the nose of the guarantor states that signed treaties with the Turkish occupation to cease fire while the Turkish occupation never abided by these treaties.

We denounce and condemn silence and inaction of the international community and those active powers in the Syrian file towards the attacks and invasion of the fascist Turkish occupation state , we call on the democracy seeking powers to stand up to war declared by the Turkish state with its mercenaries and traitors on our people. We repeat time and again that the Turkish occupation state will never ever break our will that is imbibed with the revolutionary spirit of resistance deeply rooted in our people''.
